How this site makes money

Plainly: provider links are currently direct, non-affiliate links. If that changes, the link itself and this page will say so before it goes live.

The specifics

• Provider boxes are marked "Recommended provider" while they are direct links. If a commercial relationship starts, that exact box will instead be marked "Affiliate link" directly above the recommendation.
• Outbound provider links pass through a click-logging redirect so I can see which content is useful, without running Google Analytics or invasive tracking. That log records only the provider and the page, not personal details.
• Commercial relationships never decide recommendations. If a free or non-monetized option is better, that is what the page should say.
• Nobody pays to appear in a guide. There are no sponsored placements dressed up as genuine picks.

Realistic expectations, stated plainly

This is a new site. It does not currently earn a commission from the provider links shown here. If it does in future, disclosure will be direct and placement-level rather than buried in a footer.
